This is Why We Write

In a world where the meta-verse is the next frontier, it would seem at first glance that virtual reality, or at least video would be the best way to share ideas. Immersive technology, coupled with shrinking and fragmented attention spans, would theoretically render the art of writing not only anachronistic, but also ineffective.

And yet, thousands of stories are posted daily, on this platform and all over the Internet.
